Two things come to mind when I think of Labor Day weekend: the unofficial end of summer and a long weekend. I would love to be taking full advantage of the long weekend but the real world calls and Hubby someone still has to work Monday. Thank goodness summer isn't really over in North Carolina and still have plenty of time to wear cute summer clothes!
For a trip to the beach, a cute suit is necessary. And in my opinion - the bigger the sunglasses...the better! And in my fantasy world (lets face it, that's what Friday Fancies is!) bringing $350 sunglasses to the beach isn't a big deal!
Of course, when you are done at the beach you will head to a cookout. I love a cute dress and think it's perfect for a laid back cookout. But add a cute necklace and sandals and you will impress everyone!
And to end my fantasy long weekend, I'd be going on a date night with Hubby. I have never worn an outfit like this on date night, but in my fantasy world underwear lines and fat rolls don't exist! For our date night we'd eat seafood by the beach, take a stroll on the beach and enjoy some delicious ice cream.
