For the first time in a long time weight loss is on my "to do" list. 2012 was not a good year for my body. Did you know I once weight 180lbs?! I was able to get down to 125, which was probably too thin. But this morning I weighed myself at 140.8lbs and I
kind of hate it. I blame so many things: a new desk job, stress, and laziness. I admit it...I've gotten lazy with healthy eating and working out. In fact, I can not even remember the last time I worked out. It's sad.
But in 2013 all of this will change. I'm not calling it a diet, I'm not calling it weight loss. It's called being healthy. Making healthy food choices (bye bye cheese puffs!) and remembering to workout.
I think the worst part of this small weight gain is that my favorite clothes are snug. I'm refusing to buy new clothes, it's a great motivation....I need to be able to fit in these clothes. Or I'll be embarrassed or naked. And both of those options kind of suck.
Today is the first day of my diet. Holidays are over. No more binge eating. No more drinking. Being healthy starts today!
